What are the details of the A-level student revision contest?
Independent study competition running during October and November 2026
The promoter is Educake Ltd, Company no. 07839821, whose registered office is at Educake, New Barclay House, Oxford, OX2 0HP.
The competition is open to students at schools who are current customers or triallists of Educake, except employees of Educake and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Closing date for entry will be midnight 8th November 2026. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: Students log in to Educake during the period of the competition and answer self-set questions. A self-set question is one set using the "Revision wizard" or "Study and quiz yourself" areas within Educake. The overall accuracy of these answers must be at least 50% to qualify.
To qualify for the prize draw students must answer at least 200 questions during the 4-week period, or be in the top 10% of questions answered, whichever is higher. The winners will be selected at random from the top 10% of entries, by volume of questions answered.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
The prizes are as follows:
Two winners will be chosen at random and each winner will be able to pick one of the following prizes:
A graphical calculator suitable for A-level science/maths.
or
Beats Solo 4 headphones
and
Both winning schools will also receive a £30 voucher for laboratory supplies and a bag of Educake goodies for their class.
The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
Winners will be chosen through a random prize draw and the prize determined based on the number of qualifying questions answered by each winning student. A single school may only win once.
Each winning student’s Head of Department will be notified by email during the week of 16th November 2026. The identity of the winning student will be shared with the Head of Department, and the prizes will be sent to the Head of Department via post so that they can be given to the student in school. Educake will not communicate directly with the winning students except under arrangement with the school. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will confirm with the winner where the prize will be delivered.
The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
The winner agrees to the name of his/her school being used as publicity material by the promoter. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
The names of the winning schools will be available 28 days after closing date by emailing the following address: support@educake.co.uk.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
