How to fix an admin error with Microsoft single sign-on

If your school has Microsoft email addresses and would like to log into Educake with them, your IT department might need to grant Educake access. Here's how to do this:

  1. Log in to the Microsoft Entra admin centre

  2. Open the following link to grant Educake the required permissions (you will need to replace YOUR_TENANT_ID with your school's tenant ID): https://login.microsoftonline.com/YOUR_TENANT_ID/adminconsent?client_id=e933ac2b-e3df-41a5-9cbb-cec0e585a6a6 

 If the link above does not work, you can grant consent from the Microsoft Entra admin centre:
  1. Go to Entra ID → Enterprise apps → All applications.
  2. Find and select Educake.
  3. Select Permissions.
  4. Review the requested permissions and select Grant admin consent.

Educake requires the following permissions for Microsoft sign-in:

  • openid
  • profile
  • User.Read
